Case Study · Design
We build Starpod Village as a live coming-soon page for faceted geodesic tent shelters. One static HTML file, photography, and the shelter specs.
The pods exist, and the brand needs a public page. A shop would oversell a workshop that is resting.
The public site is live at starpodvillage.com. It is a single HTML file on Cloudflare Pages, deployed from GitHub Actions. Quicksand for type. Product photos of two pods on the playa. The page lists the specs: 62 sq ft floor, 9 feet across the base, 8 feet 6 inches at the peak, 5-foot walls. One pentagon, eleven facets.
How it's built
The work is the story, the photography, and the specs. Manufacturing stays in the workshop.
Hand-authored HTML and CSS. No framework and no build step for the page itself. GitHub Actions runs wrangler pages deploy to Cloudflare Pages.
Pods happened, pods roamed, pods will return. The page says the tools are resting, not retired.
62 sq ft, 9′ base, 8′6″ peak, 5′ walls. A dimension diagram sits next to the photography. Geometry does the structural work; the page just reports it.
A 1200×630 OG image, apple-touch icon, and theme colour.
Static HTML · Cloudflare Pages · GitHub Actions · Quicksand · Open Graph.
